I was at the Medieval Festival of Moncontour in the north of Brittany. Late in the afternoon there was a sudden burst of rain. St Mathurin’s Church was nearby, so I ducked inside for shelter and wandered around looking at the glowing medieval stained glass windows. Zap! A light-bulb-moment! I realized that here was my next painting inspiration. How to do??!!! The challenge and the process have been very enjoyable, and I invite you to view and savour these new and different paintings.
