LAURA COLE has designed the vibrant Christmas Banners now decorating Rokeby Road, the main street of Subiaco in Perth, Western Australia. The design brief was to embrace the Christmas Spirit of Joy, which Laura has combined with the City of Subiaco's motto: "Prosper in Peace". In a joyous riot of colour and pattern, the banners celebrate the First Christmas story of The Three Kings following the Star to the Stable. These designs evoke the rich fabrics, sparkling jewels and luxurious furs of the Magi and their Precious Gifts.
